Introducing an amazing, custom designed, hand crafted display case for the "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" Aurora or Monogram 1/60th scale Flying Sub model. Built with the true "Voyage" fan in mind, this showcase measures 12" x 12" x 8" and is made of gloss black acrylic and comes with a clear acrylic lid to protect your model and keep it dust free.

Features include: Long life (100,000 hour) jumbo, diffused light, led's in yellow, red, blue and green. Laser etched printing on the top indicating "main power", "reactor", "keel hatch" and "launch FS/1", plus the "N.I.M.R. FS-1 Flying Sub" nameplate on the front. This is all accentuated by the circular metallic nickel finished radar screen, with the scanner arm sweeping across its face. The 9.5 diameter, custom built base that holds the model is made of .25 thick clear acrylic and was designed to angle the Flying Sub up slightly. A small tab fits into the slot on the lower docking ring, which lines up to your model perfectly. There is a micro "on/off" switch in the back of the gloss black base and a port to connect up the required 9-volt transformer (supplied).

Also, there is an auxiliary hook-up connector on the underside where you can supply power to one of my FS custom builds in the future if you like. Finally, there are rubber pads on each of the four corners, so it can't scratch your furniture. Once your package arrives it's just a matter of deciding where you want to showcase your model. It only takes a few minutes to set it up, place your model on the stand, plug in the transformer, turn on the power switch and enjoy!
