ORIGINAL DIVING CHAMBER MINIATURE |

This very cool item comes from the "Sotheby's" action house from New York. This is a miniature diving chamber, painted yellow and
made of galvanized metal. It comes with a 14" of electrical wiring attached. The prop is an good condition with some small
scratches in the paint, from use and age. The measurements on the prop is 2 1/4" round by 4" tall. Note the details of the mini
view port windows.
The experiences of the men and officers of the atomic-powered submarine Seaview, as they explore and battle the sinister elements
of the ocean floor on behalf of the U.S. government's attempts to further research. The series was created by Irwin Allen, who
directed the 1961 movie Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea as the same name used for the classic TV series. Allen went on to create
Lost in Space, Land of the Giants, & The Time Tunnel. In 1972, Allen directed The Poseidon Adventure, about an ill-fated ocean-liner that tumbled to the bottom of the sea. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea also shared many of it's props with Lost in Space, Batman,
& Land of the Giants, to name a few.
