Original Deep-Sea Monsters Concept Artwork from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea ( TCF, 1961 ). Vintage original concept artwork featuring the "Seaview" submarine encountering a fight between two deep-sea monsters. An early design by art director Herman Blumenthal. In tempera and gouache measuring 34.5" x 12.5" image size on 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 39.5" x 15", housed in an archival mat hinged with clear mylar overlay. Actual artwork reproduced on pages 108-109 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine, with light scuffs to artwork and paper loss on the borders from mount removal.
