I know this site is dedicated to only Irwin Allen's TV and movie productions! But I wanted to include this section to our site. As you may know, I am a big sci-fi and monster buff. Star Trek is also included on that list of great shows / films over the years. The character of Wesley Crusher played by Wil Wheaton remains one of my all time favorites. As with Will Robinson, there is something about young boys as space pioneers that adds interest and hope for a better future. The characters of Wesley Crusher and Will Robinson were true role models for young TV viewers such as I. They were the true American super hero's saving their families and friends from continued unknown perils.
