Draconian Marauder ( a.k.a. Hatchet Fighter ) Hero Filming Miniature from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ( NBC, 1979-1981 ). Vintage original filming model miniature constructed of epoxy, acrylic, and mixed media components with metal internal armature. Expertly assembled, painted in rust, with black embellishment and retaining stencil and Draconian horned skull decal badging. The central back engine module removes giving access to internal mounting socket and wiring to illuminate the ship's cockpit ( electronics untested ). This is the only hero Draconian Marauder, the main fighter craft of the Draconian Empire, built for the Sci-Fi series. Measures 21" x 16" x 7". Exhibiting age, production wear, loss of rear engine fins and paint chipping to edges.
