LIS ORIGINAL KEEPER DRAWINGS (SET OF 5)
"Here's history in the making!" These are 5 original drawings combined
from the 2 part episode, "THE KEEPER" staring guest star, Michael Rennie
as the Keeper. These drawings have gone through many hands over the years.
Remember that these drawings are over 40 years old. It was difficult to
get clean photos off of these for the aging of the paper, pencil drawing
fading, and the many folds within the artwork. These 22 photos display the
set on studio #5 back in 1965.
Prior to filming these drawings show, The Keeper's ship interior, monster
pit area, alien planet landscaping area, trap cages, Keeper figure
drawing, Jupiter-2 campsite, Jupiter-2 upper level interior, and even
actors standing marks. The studio would make mimeograhed copies of the
soundstage setup prior to shooting. The drawings are dated December 13,
1965 and measures approximately 3 1/2 by 4 feet long. Many of these
original drawings were given away, sold off through auction houses, or
just thrown away during the years.
