Original Concept Artwork ( 2 ) of Gary Conway as "Steve Burton" and Deanna Lund as "Valerie Scott" from the Pilot Episode "The Crash" from Land of the Giants ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1968-1970 ). Vintage original concept art from The Land of the Giants in oil paint with varnish, measuring 20" x 30", indented with 1" border of masking to 17" x 26" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 24" x 32" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. The pre-production artwork depicts Steve Burton and Valerie Scott imprisoned in a glass beaker being manhandled by a scientist giant from Season 1, Episode 1, "The Crash." A second artwork in oil paint, tempera, and graphite with varnish, measuring 20" x 30" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 24" x 32" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay, depicts Steve Burton and Valerie Scott imprisoned in a glass beaker being threatened under the baleful watch of the bearded giant.
