Original Flying saucer conceptual art from The Invaders. (Quinn Martin Productions, 1967-68) This composition art piece, a production illustration of the recognizable flying saucer seen in the classic TV series The Invaders.

The production art was made utilizing a reduced copy of an image of the proposed flying saucer for The Invaders, which was hand painted and tinted over by the show's special effects artisans at Howard Anderson Effects, which is typed in the lower left portion of the piece.

This production illustration is believed to be the original image shown to the executives of Quinn Martin Productions, the producers of this popular sci-fi series starring Roy Thinnes as David Vincent. The illustration measures 12 1/2 in. x 11 in.
