Sam J. Jones "Chris Rorchek" helicopter helmet from Irwin Allen TV series Code Red. From the collection of prop master Joseph V. Falcetti. ( CBS TV, 1981-1982 ) Irwin Allen's 6th and final TV series was Code Red, a Fire fighter family drama series. This is a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter helmet prop worn by Sam J. Jones as "Chris Rorchek". Measuring approx. 10 x 11 in. and constructed of a prefab motorcycle helmet with added vacuum-formed components, retractable tinted visor, swiveling mouthpiece microphone and cable and wire dressing. With "L.A. F.D." hand lettered on the front visor panel and a 3 in. round "City of Los Angeles Founded 1781" sticker affixed to the back and "Rorchek" hand-lettered beneath. Internal headphone earpieces and Styrofoam liner. In production-used good condition.
