This stern section ( and a stairwell owned by my brother ) was part of the large scale miniature Poseidon seen in the film when the smokestacks exploded underwater. All the Poseidon miniatures were donated to a Long Beach Naval Museum. The full Poseidon model is still on display there. The large scale miniature was just that, large and they were unable to house it inside the museum. It sat outside rotting and was eventually sold for scrap the few parts were given to a fan who then sold them to me. The stern section is 36 inches long.
