Oversize Unit Storyboard of Elevator Lobby from The Towering Inferno ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1974 ). Vintage original oversize production blueline unit storyboard featuring the burning man running from the elevator in this classic Irwin Allen cliffhanger. The unit storyboard highlights camera angles, color-coded to match the detail inserts, and illustrates the movement of the stunt man as he exits the elevator into the crowded promenade. Many areas of the storyboard have hand-drawn elements in colored ink marker, some with white gouache, handwritten captions in ink, and handwritten production notations detailing the scenes on a paper note affixed to the lower left corner. A trimmed portion of the script detailing the scene is affixed at the lower edge. Measures 23" x 18.75" and affixed to 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 40" x 30".
