Oversize Unit Storyboard of Elevator Ablaze from The Towering Inferno ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1974 ). Vintage original oversize production blueline unit storyboard featuring the intricate blazing elevator sequence from this classic Irwin Allen cliffhanger. The unit storyboard highlights the scene's camera angles, color-coded to match the detail inserts and detailed illustrations of the flame and fan equipment used to create this thrilling scene. Many areas of the storyboard have hand-drawn elements in colored ink marker, with production notes, including days of the shoot and scene number, in red ink on the upper mount, with two trimmed portions of the script detailing the scene affixed at the lower edge. Measures 27" x 21" and affixed to 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 40" x 30".
