June Lockhart costume sketch by Valles for the film "The Yearling". It measures 15" x 20" on art board. The sketch was drawn by illustrator & costume designer Gile Steele and signed by him lower right. At top it says "Twink Wedding" and "The Yearling" written in pencil. There is surface dirt and some light staining.

Great period sketch from the Academy Award nominated film for "Best Picture" but lost the the film "The Best Years of Our Lives".
