Original Concept Artwork of the Chariot Prototype on Mars from the Unaired Pilot "Nowhere to Hide" from Lost in Space ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1965-1968 ). Vintage original concept art from Lost in Space in tempera and gouache with airbrush elements, measuring 12" x 34-½" indented to 14-½" x 36" on 4-ply artist board and glue tipped to a black archival mat hinged with transparent mylar overlay. The pre-production artwork depicts the Chariot prototype on Mars, derived from the unaired pilot "No Place to Hide." Actual artwork reproduced on pp. 186-187 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine+, with pinholes on the mat.
