( CBS-TV, 1965-68 ) Original Fusion Core from Jupiter-2 Space Pod, constructed of grey-painted resin with multiple windows around the edge of the core. Internal lights are wired to illuminate in a rotating pattern, giving the illusion of fusion power generation. This core was the heart of the propulsion system for the futuristic Jupiter-2 and associated spacecraft, and was a key element in many of the show's storylines. Measures 15 in. diameter.
