A chimpanzee costume from Ted Post's Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Astronaut ( James Franciscus ) encountered groups of super intelligent ape soldiers after he landed on a version of Earth from far in the future.

This costume consists of a green jacket with brown leather panels and a Western Costume Co. label printed "2771 - 1" a brown shirt with a Western Costume Co. label printed "2771-3" a brown dickey a pair of green pants with a Western Costume Co. label printed "2771 - 4" and a pair of green simian feet shaped boots. This costume exhibits discoloration and buildup of grime on the pants.
