Created from the Original Studio Mold of Star Trek: The Original Series ( Paramount TV, 1966-69 ). Original salt vampire creature bust constructed of latex rubber and expertly painted, complete with white hair and affixed to an 8" wood display base. A faithful representation of the large, scaly creature with a gaping mouth full of sharp teeth from "The Man Trap". The crew of the USS Enterprise encounters the salt vampire on the remote planet "M-113" where they are conducting a routine medical examination of a scientist and his wife. The creature assumes the form of the scientist's former lover, a woman who had died years earlier, and begins to feed on the crew members. It is eventually discovered and destroyed, but not before claiming several victims. Exhibiting minor paint cracking and handling.
