"Scalosian" Disruptor Weapon from Episode, "Wink of an Eye" of Star Trek: The Original Series ( Paramount TV, 1966-1969 ). Vintage original hero hand prop constructed of hand-carved wooden top grip, expertly studio painted in industrial gray gloss enamel, embellished with multi-colored acrylic buttons on the side and a red acrylic button at the top. The weapon prop features a tooled aluminum, grooved barrel affixed below the wooden grip. The prop measures 7" x 2" x 2" and is highly visible used by the "Scalosians" in the episode. Another of Matt Jefferies visionary designs. Featured on page 36 in the book The Art of Star Trek by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens ( Simon and Schuster, 1995 ). Exhibiting age and production wear with minor dings in the wood and general scuffing and wear to paint.
