Starfleet Wrist Communicator from Star Trek: The Motion Picture ( Paramount, 1979 ). Vintage original prop armband-style wrist communicator constructed of cast ivory vacuum formed plastic upper shell over metal bracelet, and expertly painted and finished with black and silver paint detail and embellished with metallic silver foil tape. Transfer lettered with "7." Made by Star Trek designer and prop maker Brick Price. Measuring 3" x 1" x 1.25". Exhibiting age and wear with some chipped paint details and a wide crack running across the bottom of the interior shell.
