"Stratos" Security Force Disruptor Weapon from Episode, "The Cloud Minders" of Star Trek: The Original Series ( Paramount TV, 1966-1969 ). Vintage original hero hand prop constructed of hand-carved wooden top grip with strategically placed finger grooves, expertly studio painted in industrial gray gloss enamel, embellished with brass tack button on the side and a metallic gold foil disc at the top. The weapon prop features a tooled aluminum, grooved barrel affixed below the wooden grip. The prop measures 7" x 2" x 2". Used by the security forces on "Stratos", the cloud city, in the episode. Another of Matt Jefferies' visionary designs. Exhibiting minor production wear with scuffing to paint and oxidation.
