A Romulan disruptor pistol from Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek: The Next Generation. Romulan officers wielded their standard issue disruptor pistols throughout the series, including in such classic episodes as "Unification," "The Next Phase," and "Face of the Enemy."

First introduced in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The Enterprise Incident," Romulan disruptors were redesigned for The Next Generation by franchise illustrator and weapons designer Rick Sternbach. The 24th century versions featured sleeker, higher tech aesthetics and new power and weaponry settings, which Sternbach later described among his favorite designs for the series.

This static otherworldly pistol is cast from resin with a multicolor button array hand-painted on top, a trigger button inset on the curved handgrip, and diamond shaped gold-color grating inset on both sides of the barrel. Also included is an acrylic display stand with a Starfleet insignia shaped base. The disruptor exhibits fractures and splits on the butt and trigger guard, paint flaking, and adhesive residue throughout from production use and age.
