Snowspeeder Rebel Pilot / Gunner Miniature from Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back ( TCF, 1980 ). Vintage resin bust of a Rebel Alliance Snowspeeder Pilot / Gunner hand-painted and detailed with proper flight gear with Rebel insignia and markings on the helmet. This pilot / gunner figure was made to sit in the two-foot filming miniature created by Industrial Light & Magic so that it was visible on screen in some visual effects close-ups or medium range shots. Figure measures 2.25" tall and is mounted on a small acrylic base. This piece originated from the Kurtz / Joiner film archive ( Gary Kurtz was producer on Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back ) and comes with an LOA stating this piece was deaccessioned from the collection.
