A light-up rotating Starfleet Type-2 phaser from Paramount Pictures' Star Trek Into Darkness. Starfleet Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise wielded standard issue phasers as they attempted to save the beloved ship from Khan Noonien Singh.

This futuristic weapon with serial number "PLJ 0924-110958" engraved along the barrel is cast from resin. It features a rotating emitter at the front designed to alternate 180 degrees between red "kill" and chrome color "stun" barrel settings, as well as an LED panel on the top of the barrel, both of which are operated via a button concealed on the side. The battery compartment is removable with magnetized closures.

Following production, this phaser underwent sympathetic restoration to return functionality to its internal electronics. It exhibits scuffs throughout its chrome color finish, including along the base of the grip, from production use. Dimensions: 10.5" x 2.25" x 7.5" ( 27 cm x 6 cm x 19 cm ). Value: $10,000.
